Responsibilities:

• Personal Care: Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Medication Reminders: Ensuring timely medication intake as prescribed.
• Meal Preparation: Planning and preparing nutritious and appealing meals, considering any dietary restrictions.
• Light Housekeeping: Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized living environment (e.g., tidying up, light laundry related to the individual’s care).
• Companionship: Providing emotional support, engaging in meaningful conversations, and participating in activities the individual enjoys (e.g., reading, walks, hobbies).
• Mobility Assistance: Safely assisting with walking, transfers (e.g., from bed to chair), and using mobility aids.
• Monitoring Health: Observing and reporting any changes in the individual’s physical or mental condition to the family or relevant medical professionals.
• Transportation (if required): Assisting with transportation to appointments, errands, or social activities.
• Following Care Plans: Adhering to individualized care plans and instructions provided by family members or healthcare professionals.
• Maintaining a Safe Environment: Identifying and addressing potential safety hazards in the home.
• Communication: Maintaining open and clear communication with family members regarding the individual’s well-being and any concerns.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience as an Elderly Caregiver, Home Health Aide, or similar role.
• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature with a genuine desire to care for the elderly.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Strong understanding of hygiene and safety standards.
• Basic knowledge of first aid and CPR is preferred (certification is a plus).
• Ability to assist with mobility and transfers safely.
• Experience with medication reminders.
• Ability to prepare nutritious meals.
• Respect for the privacy and dignity of the individual.
• Reliability and punctuality.
• Preferred:
• Relevant certifications in elder care.
• Fluency in English

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,500.00 – AED5,000.00 per month
